Write to me--e-mail me--just chit-chat or mundane daily events--I am going crazy. There is nothing about normal here. Everyone is coming to London for work and to improve their English--and there are no jobs and I can't speak Russian, Polish, German or Italian let alone understand cockney. We are staying busy but have long pauses and lots of travel--at least 5 tube and train rides a day and at each location we have to set up tables, connect computers (real tricky for us) get printers to work. In the pauses I read or knit--my major expense at this time is yarn and downloading books. Dad is obsessive about walking so we walk when ever we can, drive very little and most days our schedule doesn't allow time for any kind of decent meal--so it is an apple with some cheese or digestables (dry cookies). I am sorry to say that many days my lunch and breakfast combined consists of a diet coke. It is getting cold here so it will be more museums and indoor activities to fill our down time. Dad is happy as a clam and just tolerates my mumbling as usual. This week-end is Stake Conference, since our building is now a construction site we are having to go to Wandsworth which is where we spend two days a week but the tubes and trains are down for maintainence so it will be two buses and some walking to get to the building , Dad is speaking for 5 minutes at the leadership meeting.
Well I had best go, DAd is waiting we are on our way to the Kew--National Archives. We are progressing with our family history and do have some names that need ordinances so we will proof them and send on the info to you--our Family History friends say that we can download the info and then just e-mail it to you for you to take to the temple and hae the ordinance cards printed there--faster and easier.
Well take care. We love and miss you.
